I love celebrating an upcoming wedding with an engagement session! But first and foremost- I ALWAYS recommend having your engagement session completed by your wedding photographer (who hopefully is Amanda Joy Photography)!

 

Your engagement session is a wonderful way to share the good news through Save the Date cards, create new portraits to display at your bridal shower and wedding reception, they are perfect for a custom guestbook, and very importantly- your engagement session gives you the opportunity to work with your wedding photographer before the big day. This is so so important to feeling relaxed and comfortable, so your wedding portraits are nothing less than perfect.

My wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session, but there are several reasons you may consider booking an engagement session on its own: perhaps you are having a destination wedding, are still trying to nail down your wedding date, or you are on the fence of which photographer to book for your wedding. The good news is- if you are looking to book an engagement session as a "trial run" or you are waiting to secure your wedding date, your session fee is deducted from the wedding balance should you decide to book later!
