When should I book my portrait session?

Senior portraits are typically booked the summer after junior year, however they may be booked in any season. We recommend booking your session at least two months in advance- this allows you to select a date that works best for you (weekends fill VERY quickly), schedule hair and makeup if you desire, and allow time to plan out your clothing. If you didn't quite account for the two months advance scheduling, no worries! Contact the studio to get information on availability.

Can I do more than one photoshoot date for my senior session?

You are able to split your senior session to two dates for $50 additional.

What is required to book my date?

Your session fee is the only amount due up front. This reserves your session date and is non-refundable.

What does my session include?

Senior portrait sessions include a planning consultation, a session lasting approximately 2 hours, and a gallery of at least 40 professionally retouched images from which to order from during your private gallery reveal and ordering appointment.

What locations do you shoot at and how many are included?

Senior sessions include two shoot locations- you may choose two outdoor, or one outdoor and one in-studio session. We frequently use locations around the Youngstown area including Mill Creek Park and downtown Youngstown, but locations have many options! We have shot at The Poland Library, the McKinley Library in Niles, and a plethora or locations in the Canfield, Salem, Columbiana, and Warren Area. During your planning appointment, we will assist you at deciding on the best locations for you based on your personal style and what you would like to incorporate into your shoot.

What should I wear?

Outfits should be planned well in advance. We recommend choosing at least two outfits, but you may choose up to 4. Adding accessories is a great way to "change" an outfit without having to completely re-dress. When you book your session, the studio will provide you information on styling.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the greater Youngstown area including but not limited to: Youngstown, Austintown, Canfield, Boardman, Poland, Struthers, Warren, Niles, Girard, Columbiana, and Salem.

Is a yearbook photo included in my session?

Your yearbook image is complimentary with your session. Just provide the studio with the information of where to send your selected image at your gallery reveal appointment and we will take care of the rest!

How long until my pictures are ready?

Your images will be ready for ordering 1-2 weeks after your session date.

​

How long does it take for my products to arrive?

Product completion depends on the specific product. Prints and wall art are typically ready within 2 weeks, while albums are custom created and handmade in Italy, which will take closer to 4 weeks to receive. Please plan accordingly!

How much will I spend on products?

Product investment can vary greatly depending on your individual needs. Some families invest in as little as $500, and others spend well over $1,000. The largest factor is how may, what sizes, and what finishes of portraits you are looking to receive. Our options are wide, beginning with budget friendly mounted portraits, to museum quality finished wall groupings.  Scheduling a consultation is the best way to discuss your personal needs.

Do I need to pay the full amount at my ordering appointment?

NO! We understand that quality portraits can be an investment, and we offer payment plans to help with this cost. We do require a minimum of 1/3 of the balance paid at the date of order. However, your products will not be released from the studio until the full balance is received.

What payment types do you accept?

While cash and check is the preferred payment method, we accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
