Wedding -Drake's Landing - Canfield, Ohio
Stephanie and Carl's wedding was so fun and unique! Their personalities definitely shine through from beginning to end.
We started the day at the Victorian Players in Youngstown. Stephanie and Carl have a very dramatic background, so it was a perfect setting for their ceremony! The building has such character, and with their Nightmare Before Christmas theme, it was just right.
The ceremony was as unique as the location. Stephanie and Carl wrote their own vows which were filled with more love, inside jokes, and humorous movie references than I can begin to tell you! We laughed, we cried, and then Stephanie and Carl included a handfasting ceremony.
I love finding interesting nooks and crannies to shoot through for a different perspective!

Handfasting ceremonies are a really interesting tradition. The tying of the hands symbolizes a husband and wife's devotion and connection to each other.
When the ceremony was over, we headed to the beautiful Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown to take some wedding portraits.
Any Dr. Who fans out there? You will know what these are! I seriously LOVE how they incorporated so many thematic aspects of their favorite movies/shows into their one of a kind wedding!
My favorite part of a wedding is the bridal portraits. I know these are the photographs that end up on walls, given to family, and are looked at year after year to remember this day.

We need to talk about these flowers. Carl made these amazing paper flower bouquets for the ENTIRE bridal party. WOW, right?! He is so incredibly talented! And isn't this absolutely stunning?! I, for one, ADORE this.
Have you ever seen a more stunning dress??? So much intricate detail- the lace the beading..and my absolute favorite, buttons! Head over heels gorgeous!
After photos, we headed off to Drake's Landing in Canfield, Ohio to start celebrating. Check out these detail shots of their super cool decor! (Carl also painted their Nightmare Before Christmas Card box..he is so talented!). I just love how the theme shows everywhere you turn in their reception space!
After a fabulous dinner (Drake's Landing really does have amazing chefs there, and their staff does an awesome job every single time), the festivities began. Here's some shots of the dances.
The bride and groom took a break for some fun shots with the bridal part, and some stunning portraits outside at dusk.

On to the real surprise...now you should have guessed that this wedding wouldn't be complete without at least ONE more surprise!
After months of practice, these two put on a show for their guests!
The night was full of dancing and fun, and the DJ did an awesome job setting the mood with smoke and lights!
Such a gorgeous wedding- it was evident that these two were Simply Meant To Be.
POST WEDDING
In addition to a variety of linen and metal prints, Stephanie and Carl received their stunning, Italian leather wedding album, designed to be as unique as they are.
I couldn't resist adding this 30x40 metal print to the studio over the sofa! I needed a new sample so, voila!
I also used one of their wedding images to display my new 2018 folio box (isn't it just absolutely lovely?).
These new Folio Boxes can be filled with up to 30 beautifully matted images. In Love!
