Senior pictures should be fun, exciting, and unique. They should capture the senior's personality in a beautiful way. Check out this awesome seasonal shoot at our local Mill Creek Park in Youngstown, Ohio with this Shenango High School senior!
Geanna was one of my senior reps in 2017, so we started her senior session with a portrait session in spring. For this shoot, we headed to Youngstown's beautiful Fellows Riverside Gardens (the Rose Gardens) where we were able to capture some gorgeous shots with the spring flowers. The Rose Gardens are such a popular setting for senior pictures, and Geanna and her mom traveled from New Castle, PA to have her photos done here!
This shot is one of my personal favorites. I love when an image is filled with another element, but the subject is still in the spotlight! These purple flowers were a gorgeous match to her attire and created a vibrant frame.

The warmness of this beautiful sunlight paired perfectly with Geanna's sultry expression.

I love finding new angles to incorporate a different perspective. Look how gorgeous those blue eyes are! The perfect contrast to the purple tulips and yellow daffodils at the Rose Gardens!

This is another one of my favorite shots from this shoot! She just pops from the green grass, and Geanna's expression is absolutely captivating. One of my favorite parts about location shoots is that there are so many different elements you can incorporate at just a single location.

The vivid colors in this shot and the lighting were so perfect! You can check out this image finished with my metal display option in the studio!

Geanna's Youngstown spring senior portrait session was a hit!
Later in the year, we scheduled her second senior session during the fall to get some more awesome shots. This time, we headed to Pioneer Pavilion in Youngstown's Mill Creek Park.

That smile is contagious! We had a lot of fun during this senior shoot!

This area by Pioneer Pavillion in Mill Creek Park is a favorite of mine. I love the architecture of the building and it creates a variety of posing opportunities.

Next, we took the trek down to the waterfall where we splashed in the water.

This shot looks like a secret cove- so fun!

Warning- we get a little crazy around here for senior pictures...but it's a lot of fun!

After we dried off and Geanna changed into her next outfit, we headed over to the steel suspension bridge (or the "Cinderella Bridge") in Mill Creek Park for some senior pictures fit for a princess.

This shot was a senior favorite!

I love the shallow depth of field in this shot! Geanna just pops in this image!

After the steel bridge, we headed back to the Rose Gardens in Mill Creek Park as the sun was setting for the final shots to commemorate Geanna's senior year. This time, the gardens were in full bloom.

We call this "Vogue."

After the sun had set, we finished Geanna's session off with a few night shots.

Geanna's session was so much fun, and we had so many locations full of awesome senior pictures!
